This is a writing based collection with poems included I have written within the past year.

“I have wandered through mansions of misery and properties of pain. In the depths of an estate, I stumbled upon a basement that held a trove of memories.

I sifted through remnants that echoed a semblance of peace. As this excavation unearthed only doubt and delusion, hope intervened—a perspective unafraid of what lay beneath, focusing instead on the possibilities of what had unfolded above.

As I withdrew from my search, I envisioned the estate's history. The patina of the copper pipes told a tale of a home aging gracefully, like an elder growing wiser, their experiences etched into their skin.

In traversing the maps of age and wisdom, I discovered the beauty in the broken. Each thing and person bears their own scars, cloaked in guarded or disguised pain.

Once this truth was embraced, all that remained was the shrouded elegance beneath the surface.

Thus, I ceased my excavation.”
